Disney’s Aladdin was based in the motion picture of the same name and was released in 1992.
The game was awarded Best Genesis Game of 1993 by Electronic Gaming Monthly. They also awarded it Best Animation. Mega placed the game at #12 in their Top Mega Drive Games of All Time. The SNES version sold over 1.75 million units worldwide. Need I say more?

King’s Quest V: Absence Makes the Heart Go Yonder! is a 1990 adventure game released by Sierra. Released in November 1990, it featured a significant improvement in graphics (achieved through the introduction of VGA into the series). It was also the first King’s Quest installment to replace the typing user interface with a point-and-click user interface.
It won Computer Gaming World’s 1991 Adventure Game of the Year award. It was later released as a “talkie” CD-ROM, meaning the characters have voices, done by members of the Sierra staff. The music was MIDI based and written by Mark Seibert and Ken Allen.

SimCity 2000 (SC2K) is a simulation/city building video game and the second installment in the SimCity series. SimCity 2000 was first released by Maxis in 1993. In 1995, SimCity 2000 won “Best Military or Strategy Computer Game” Origins Award.

The Legend of Kyrandia is a fantasy point-and-click adventure game trilogy with comedy elements, created by Westwood Studios, and released for DOS, Amiga, FM Towns and Apple Macintosh. It was based in a fantasy setting called Fables & Fiends, which has not been used beyond the trilogy.
I know the first game is considered a better game and an alltime classic, but I liked Zanthia a little bit more…

The Dig is a graphical adventure game developed by LucasArts and released in 1995, and a game based on an idea for an Amazing Stories episode by Steven Spielberg. It was the 11th game to use the SCUMM game engine, and is famous for its connection to Spielberg and notorious for its prolonged production that had the game bordering on vaporware.
My favourite Adventure game of all time and guess what! I just Bought the Book! I could talk for hours about it. It is the game that changed me as a kid. The game that changed the way i view the Sci-Fi genre forever.

Full Throttle is a computer adventure game developed and published by LucasArts. It was designed by Tim Schafer, who would later go on to design Grim Fandango, Psychonauts and Brütal Legend.
The game features voice actors Roy Conrad and Mark Hamill. It was released on April 30, 1995. It is the tenth game to use the SCUMM adventure game engine.
